Grade 12 student killed by a white tiger at Delhi Zoo...
A white tiger attacked and killed a grade 12 student on Tuesday at the New Delhi zoo when the student apparently breached the enclosure.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, with a New Delhi zoo representative telling AFP the school boy appeared to have ‘jumped over a barricade into an enclosure’.
“The boy seems to have leapt over the railing into the tiger enclosure. It was a white tiger that attacked,” Riaz Khan said, adding the incident occurred around 11.30am UAE time.
Other media reports quoted witnesses on the scene saying the barricade of the tiger enclosure was low and the boy lost his balance and fell into a dry moat inside.
