#UAE #Jobs: #Emirates airline, #Etihad hiring in October...
UAE’s two biggest airlines Etihad and Emirates will be hiring aggressively in the month of October.
Each week of the month will see at least one hiring and recruitment day offering many opportunities to those interested.
Etihad is hosting a major recruitment drive globally, seeking individuals to join their cabin crew. The international recruitment days will take place in 12 different cities in five countries including Italy, Germany, Japan, Morocco and Tunisia.
In Abu Dhabi, the airline will also hold recruitment days on October 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29, and open days for food and beverage managers and inflight chefs on October 13 and 27.
Likewise, Emirates has a packed hiring calendar next month. Recruitment days are planned in Toronto, Vancouver, Buenos Aires, Melbourne and Brisbane, among other cities.
Some of these events are walk-in whereas others are only by invitation and for these the applicants need to register. Only shortlisted applicants will be invited for the actual day.
On the salary and benefits front, Emirates provides shared cabin crew accommodation with own bedroom. Profit sharing schemes, exchange rate protection scheme, professional specialist allowances also make up a part of the package. However, these benefits depend upon the role and/or applicant’s unique personal circumstance.
Transportation to and from the airport and other standard non-cash elements like annual leave, leave tickets, end of service gratuity, medical and insurance form a part of the package. On leaving the company, an employee is entitled to an end of service gratuity or provident scheme payment, whichever is higher.
