Dolphin found dead on Saudi beach
A dolphin was dead on a Saudi beach and swimmers fear it could have been killed by pollution in the area, a newspaper in the Gulf kingdom reported on Saturday.
Abdullah Al Hazza said he was swimming at the beach in the eastern province on the Gulf when he noticed a large body floating in the water.
“I called my friends and pulled it out…it was a dead dolphin…we don’t know how it died but we fear there might be pollution in the area,” he told Okaz newspaper, adding that the carcass had been handed to the municipality.
