More rain expected across UAE today

Dubai: More rain is expected across the UAE on Monday, February 10, 2014.

The weather will be partly cloudy with moderate winds and the temperature is likely to fall slightly, according to the weather forecasters. The sea will be rough at times.

Rainwater gathered in some streets and low-lying areas in Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Umm Al Quwain on Sunday, creating traffic bottlenecks.

Light scattered rain also hit downtown Al Ain. Heavy rain was reported in Fujairah, Hatta and Abu Dhabi on Sunday.
