Flights from Dubai airport unaffected by Tuesday’s rain

Dubai: Flights operating in and out of Dubai International were unaffected by heavy rain on Tuesday, with strong winds causing only a few delays, according to a Dubai Airports spokesperson.

There were reports of flooding in some emirates as rain hit parts of the UAE on Tuesday morning. However, Dubai International, one of the world’s busiest airports, remained unaffected.
An Etihad spokesperson also confirmed to Gulf News that by Tuesday midday, all of the airlines’ flights in and out of Abu Dhabi International were running to schedule.
