Samsung #NoteEdge in Japan, #UAE launch imminent…

Japan will become the first country to get the Samsung Galaxy Edge, the smartphone with dual screen and display features. The South Korean firm announced that its new flagship smartphone - which it hopes will be able to take on the iPhone 6 Plus – will start retailing at Japanese stores by the end of October. The device is currently available for pre-order through telecom providers KDDI and NTT DoCoMo.

The Japanese launch is significant as it means the device could soon hit other markets within the next few weeks.

For all those in the UAE, who are eagerly waiting for the Note 4, there is good news as well. Samsung has already sent out invites for a regional launch of the Galaxy Note Edge on October 15 in Dubai.
