Are you happy? Share your joy with Dubai municipality

Dubai Municipality has launched the ‘Happiness Index’ to measure if their customers are satisfied with their services.

This is in line with the ‘Happiness Index’ guidelines set by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

The civic body will distribute 23 smart devices linked with a centralised network in the main building of Dubai Municipality in Deira and in other DM centres across Dubai.

“An application will be put in place, where a customer can select one of three options to express the level of his/her happiness or unhappiness on the services provided,” explained Hussain Nasser Lootah, director general of Dubai municipality.

“The customers can also do follow-ups and can provide feedback regarding the services, enabling us to improve the quality of our services,” said Lootah.

He added that the customer relations department will be entrusted with the follow-up of these devices and the analysis of evaluation.

“The department will also find solutions and train the employees to achieve the desired level of customer satisfaction,” he said.

“It’s worth mentioning that UAE has been ranked 14th among the happiest nations in the world. We will spare no efforts until Dubai is one of the top 10 happiest cities in the world by 2021,” he added.
