Massaging: Everyone loves a good massage whether it’s to relieve the stress after a long day of lectures or to try and ease the pounding headache of a two day hangover however when its time to swap places and return the favor our good humour rapidly fades. But ladies do not despair! As well as earning you massive brownie points giving a 10-minute massage can burn up to 48 calories. All that kneading and rubbing can really pay off.
Making Out: We all know that making out can lead to some serious heavy breathing. 20 minutes of intense making out can be the equivalent to 10 minutes on the cross trainer in the gym but without the unflattering spandex plus it burns up to 59 calories. Win-win situation.
Circuits and interval training have become popular in the last few months, as adding different exercises at different intensities has been shown to dramatically increase your calories burnt. This pleasing position will not only feel great but will really tone your lower abs to help get rid of that pesky layer of flab caused by that extra mince pie over Christmas or the occasional (weekly) timepiece burger. This position also helps to build up your pelvic floor muscles as well as giving your quads a workout too. Sit-ups and the plank can be a thing of the past!
Body Blast: Standing strain! With this position the guy stands and holds his partner up. This is affects his entire body as he is constantly working to stabilize the both of you. This will increase his heart rate, burning more fat and calories. Ladies on the other hand will get a killer inner thigh work out!
Muscle Mover: After trying out all these new and exciting positions it’s just about forgivable that your muscles may be aching slightly! The lunge position is done simply by extending into a lunge stretch with your opposite leg supporting on your knee and thrusting over your partner. This position works many different muscle groups while stretching out the legs, hamstrings, core and thighs. Sex is a great way to get a whole body workout. It requires no membership, no fees, just a good partner and some dedicated time. Many of the numbers are just guesstimates since different people burn different amounts of calories but if you are getting a full body workout then you can be sure that you are burning calories and are having fun while doing it too!
