Safa Park was created in 1975 and is a 150 acre park with four entrances into the park. The park is located Between Sheikh Zayed and Al Wasl Road in Jumeirah 2 and also has a great 3.3km running track going around the park which is frequently used in the evenings by joggers, footballers and fitness enthusiasts. The park also contains a man-made waterfall, 3 lakes, more than 200 bird species and a staggering 17,000 plant species. In 2009 the park welcomed more than 842,000 visitors.

Mamzar Beach Park

Mamzar Beach Park is Dubai’s largest beach park and also allows access for cars. The parks location is on the way to Sharjah and can be extremely busy on weekends and public holidays. Chalets are available to hire for the day at the park which is great for large groups as it gives you all a good location to leave your stuff and meet up at.
Facilities: 5 Beaches, large outdoor swimming pool, changing rooms, toilets, picnic areas, an open grassland area, children’s play areas, bikes for hire, cafe’s & small shopping stores.

Creek Park is a place where you will never get bored, situated next to the dazzling Dubai Creek lies one of the oldest and most popular parks in Dubai, The Creek Park. This park is mostly popular among families with children as it has mazes, nature trails, children’s play areas, Children’s City & Dubai Dolphinarium, barbecue areas, miniature train rides, bike rentals, an amphitheatre, cafe’s, picnic areas, 18-hole mini golf course, restaurants and not to forget the cable car’s. So as mentioned this is a great park for the whole family as there is so much to do.

Mushrif Park is the biggest and oldest park in Dubai by a long shot. Mushrif Park is a prime location for families due to the amount of activities and attractions within the park. The park is also a great place to visit if you wish to have a family picnic or barbecue. One of the main attractions at Mushrif Park is the Miniature International Village which is home to lots of small houses from all over the world.

Al Wasl Park is located near Safa Park and is accessible on weekdays only by ladies and children, men are allowed in on the weekends with families. If you feel like going for a stroll or an after work jog then this park is the ideal place to do just that.

Umm Sequiem Park is located near to Jumeirah Beach hotel and is open to woman and children only during weekdays and on weekends men are also allowed in with their families. At Umm Sequiem Park you have not only got great views of the beach and Burj Al Arab but also have the Jumeirah Hotel and Wild Wadi just a stone’s throw away.

Satwa Park is located behind Al Moosa Towers on Sheikh Zayed Road and is recommended you take a visit if living or staying in the area. If you’re not living or staying in the area then we would suggest you take a visit to one of the other parks in this article as this park does not have a great enough amount of activities and facilities that are worth driving a long distance for.

Al Barsha Park is one of the newer parks in the great city of Dubai and is very popular with local residents both in the Al Barsha area and surrounding estates. Apart from having a jogging, walking and cycling track there are also plenty of fun activities for both children and adults to take part in including volleyball, football, tennis and basketball courts. Other facilities at the park include a kids play area and a large pond.

Za’abeel Park is one of the largest parks in Dubai and is located at the Creek end of Sheik Zayed Road in between Karama and the Za’abeel area. Za,abeel isn’t one of the quietest parks around as Sheik Zayed Road does go straight through it and it can get extremely busy on weekends. But that aside if you’re looking for a park with great facilities then Za’abeel Park is a good place to visit. The park also has great barbecue and picnic areas along with a 3.6km jogging track.
Facilities: An amphitheatre, playgrounds, slides, jungle gyms, pedal buggies for hire, rowing & pedal boats for the lake, toilets, Wi-Fi areas, barbecue areas, picnic areas, an edutainment centre & even a roller-coaster.

Karama Park is the perfect park to visit if you are looking to relax after a day’s shopping at Karama’s markets. The park doesn’t have much to offer in the way of activities and facilities but it is usually very busy, in fact it is most probably one of the most used parks in Dubai.
