WETEX 2016 to host a series of discussions, seminars and workshops

The 18th Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition (WETEX 2016), will kick off on Tuesday (4 October 2016) under the directives of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and under the patronage of HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance and President of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA).
DEWA, the organiser of the exhibition, has planned a series of activities and events on the sidelines of WETEX aiming to maximise its benefits to exhibitors and visitors. These activities will be attended by specialists and pioneers in energy, water and environment as they spread a culture of sustainability and strengthen national and regional efforts to achieve a green economy.
To be held over three days from 4th to 6th of October at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, WETEX 2016 will include many activities, seminars and workshops. Also, similar events will be held in parallel during the first Dubai Solar Show happening in conjunction with WETEX under the umbrella of Green Week. Organised by DEWA for the third year in a row, the Third Green Week will seek to highlight the importance of energy conservation and optimal ways of its production and consumption.
