How to Do a Full Body Makeover

Understand exactly what it is you want to change about yourself. Is it your hair, skin, teeth, nails, smell, dark spots, or weight? Is it all of the above? It is beneficial to write down your makeover goals in a journal. Check off each one as you make changes.

Look at each goal carefully. What will you have to do in each area to be "made over"? For example, concerning your teeth, do you need to just brush more or is other dental work required?

Research each makeover area on your goal list at the library and/or on the Internet.

Write up an outline plan of action for each goal, pointing the way for improvements. However, don't become overwhelmed with too many ideas on your plate. Enjoy the journey as you make improvements, whether big or small.

Do not be angry with yourself when you do not make your goals. Keep working towards them or go to another makeover area that might be easier to attain, for now.

Reward yourself when you finish a goal within your makeover list.

Take more pride in how you look. Get up earlier in the morning so you have more time to do your hair and any makeup.

Hit the shops and buy some new products for your body and facial cleansing.

Do not smoke.

Exercise every other day, at least two to three times per week. If nothing else, institute a walking program.

Eat a balanced diet. Don't skip breakfast. Watch your intake of sugary and salty foods. Eat whole grains. Cut down on junk food in gener
