Get your woollies out: UAE temperatures hit lows of 8°C

It’s going to be ‘fair to partly cloudy’ in the UAE, with temperatures hitting lows of 8 degree Celisus.

“The highest temperature recorded over the country today was 28.5 degree Celsius in Fujairah airport at 3pm,” read the tweet on their official handle, with their forecast for Wednesday suggesting that “temperatures (will) slightly increase over some areas”. 

According to the weather bureau, there will be “moderate to fresh winds, especially over the sea, causing blowing dust over exposed areas”.

The National Center of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) adds “sea will be rough in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea. 

“The relative humidity will increase during the night and early morning over some coastal and internal areas.”
