Emaar boss says Dubai developer is ‘running day and night’ to keep up with projects

The developer of the Burj Khalifa has unveiled its latest upmarket apartment complex, with international interest expected.
But on Monday, the chairman of Emaar said that even the huge construction firm may have to slow down due to the number of projects now ongoing.
Mohamed Alabbar and Dubai Holdings have launched the Dubai Creek Residences at The Lagoons, which will go on sale from November 1 in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, London and Moscow.
He said: “This is six million sqm big and we have the same in Dubailand and we have Dubai World Central.

“We have a lot going on in the kitchen right now. So, I’d try to be realistic and say that our bandwidth right now is full. We are really running day and night.
“I think we can turn some ovens off and switch off some burners.”
He said that, as with other major firms, Emaar are closely watching the fast changing residential and commercial markets in UAE.
He said: “You have to look at the market almost on a daily basis.
