Woman suffers horrific injuries after she is punched in the face at Notting Hill Carnival for telling man to stop groping her

Mary Brandon, 22, uploaded a photograph of her injures toFacebook after the alleged attack on Westbourne Park Road. She claimed the assault has made her rethink how to respond if she is sexually assaulted again. The young woman claimed she was groped by a man at the Caribbean carnival and asked him to stop. When he didn't she asked him again, which is when, she claims, she was hit. Metropolitan police are investigating the incident and appealing for witnesses.
