Watch His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum take a ride on the Dubai Tram

HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has taken a trip on the Dubai Tram.

In this video released on Sunday by Dubai Media Office, the UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai boards a trial run of the new public transport system, along with Dubai Crown Prince HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Dubai Deputy Ruler Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

Sheikh Hamdan tweeted: “Today we witnessed the test run of the Dubai Tram. We hope it becomes a touristic icon of Dubai and the UAE.”

The media office added: “#Dubai Tram is first tramway project outside Europe powered by ground-based electric supply system.”
